When they went places, they either used public transportation or walked. They slept on air mattresses every night. She had only a few different outfits, which were always used before she got them, at one time. They were always a little big on her, when she first got them, and tight on her by the time she got more, and they were usually boy clothes. Every Christmas she got one homemade toy, from her Dad who did not do Santa Clause. On each birthday he would throw her a small party, so she would just get gifts from her friends. The only book she owned was a book of A.A. Milne Winnie The Pooh stories, so she read it a lot. They also went to the library a lot, where she would check out lot's of books. She would watch DVD's on a public library computer, using her set of headphones. She never checked movies out, because they did not own a T.V. or a computer. She always had enough to eat, of cheap food, and was happy and kind. Her father always gave her lots of love and attention. She occasionally had a small interest in something girly, like playing with dolls, but her father would always say no and call it sissy. When she was six, she was playing with her stuffed Pooh Bear (the only toy her father ever gave her that wasn't a homemade Christmas gift, or a childhood toy of his) when she heard a scary sound from her father’s shop. She rushed downstairs, keeping a hold of her bear, and found her father in a coma, with his head bleeding. She dialed 911, and managed to tell the operator what was going on through her tears. She went to live with Ms. China. She had her own room, lots of toys, and she got to be with and often ride horses every day. Yet, she was not nearly as happy as she used to be, and she brought her stuffed Pooh with her everywhere. When her father got better, he went to live there. She became much happier, and stopped taking Pooh with her everywhere, until he died. Her favorite things have always been horses and Winnie the Pooh, and horses. Her favorite color is yellow. She’s had a tendency to play with boys more often than girls. She has never worn a dress, tried to look pretty, or play with a doll, in her entire life. *****************************************************
