this is the greatest.. :D I grew up on WWF and Hulk was apart
of that. Vince McMahon and crew had me hooked for a minute.
Had all of us tweens hooked in the neighborhood, both girls &
boys.... ;D Then life happens and you grow up. Rowdy Roddy
Piper and Pipers Pit, Hulk, Andre the Giant, King Kamala, Sgt
Slaughter, George "the animal" Steel, British Bulldogs, Bruno
Samartino, The Harts, Chief Jay Strongbow, Billy Whitewolf, Ivan
Kohloff, Macho Man, Dusty Rhodes, Billy Graham, and of course
EVERYONES favorite....Kiss stealing', jet flying', limousine
riding' Naitcha Boy Ric Flair....WOOOOOO! Man I could go on
       for days. [emoji23]

For me the peak years was Bret Hart, the Rock, Stone Cold and
       Sean Michaels dominated the WWF.
I really didn't understand why WCW was getting higher ratings,
and eventually that dichotomy sorted itself out.

I was out of there by the time the younger Rock and them came
along. I never saw him wrestle. I did see Austin 3:16 once
       though...lol

The Rock was phenomenal. I spit out all the beer I had in my
mouth the first time he said "it doesn't matter what your name
       is".
It pained me to see how underutilized his talents were outside
of the WWF. Hollywood didn't know what kind of talent they had.

Huh? The Rock is HUGE in Hollywood and beyond. He has sex
appeal for the ladies, he's really smart and compassionate, he
identifies w the rich and the poor. Basically he's one
charismatic mofo. There are those in political circles who want
him to run for office. He's been enshrined in wax in Paris.
He's still doing movies and voice overs in Hollywood as well.
Once you do Disney and the DC/Marvel movies, you're in there.
Believe me, he's good and most of Hollywood loves that guy.
But back to wrestling....I seen "the Show" one night at PHL
International Airport baggage claim. I didn't know who he was
at the time, but my eyes were like saucers when I seen this
HUMONGOUS male. I kid you not, I couldn't believe how large
this man was. Not just in height, but weight, girth, hands,
feet, shoulders, chest, everything inch of that mans body was
abnormally huge. The few kids that were in the area recognized
him and was jumping up and down, so I snapped a pic. When I got
home I showed it to my brother who watches wrestling like
clockwork, and he told me who he was. I can literally imagine
what Andre the Giant looked like now.
SN: in the same baggage claim area....Billy Owens. I instantly
recognized him waiting on his luggage like the rest of us. No
fans, nobody knew who he was. NBA bust but made a nice bag
       while he was there.

Dwayne did the cocky bad boy thing better than even Stone Cold.
And like Stone Cold fans couldn't help but love him.
He got his box office money, but I feel like he was only half as
entertaining as he could have been.

Did I miss something? Ur speaking in past tense about him. Did
he pass away, walk away from Hollywood, been arrested? Black

Clooney's biggest pay day (at that point) was his role in
       Batman.
For years after that he openly admitted to feeling ashamed about
taking that role, and took low paying roles in other movies to
       recover his credibility.
It's not all about money, though I can't say that money isn't
       great.
