By: admin Date: April 15, 2013, 4:41 pm --------------------------------------------------------- The wonder weeks there are various names for them, but basically there is a list of which days your child will be easy to handle and which days unfortunately you will be tearing your hair out. if i'd know this before day 5 I wouldn't have been wanting to hunt out the receipt and send him back. I never forget that moment of thinking maybe we would never cope if every night was suddnedly be like this. Once I knew you then got up days as well it all improved #Post#: 212-------------------------------------------------- Re: What would you have liked someone to tell before your baby a rrived? By: Angie Date: April 16, 2013, 4:36 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Things don't always go to plan, when it comes to labour and birth. Don't worry if it's not how wished, but do be proactive about what you want and believe in, question practice you are unhappy with or unsure of, and seek out support. #Post#: 213-------------------------------------------------- Re: What would you have liked someone to tell before your baby a rrived? By: InbalB Date: April 17, 2013, 4:08 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Wish I'd have known about these baby cues when Z was a newborn! By: Christina Date: April 24, 2013, 5:49 am --------------------------------------------------------- I wish I'd known she could come 3 months early then I might have packed a hospital bag!!! But other than that... I wish I'd known to trust my own instincts - especially on the unit. Nobody knows your baby like you do - there's an instinctive bond and mum is the best person to recognise when a baby is in discomfort. A recent study I've been privy too showed that nurses and doctors have no more idea than mum when a baby needs attention. #Post#: 220-------------------------------------------------- Re: What would you have liked to know before your baby arrived?
