I am not really a train buff. My father however worked for Lionel Trains many years ago. I have 3 employee service pins he was awarded during his time there. A 10 year, a 15 year and a 20 year. I can find little information on them. Anyone know if they are collectable and what their value might be ? #Post#: 2964-------------------------------------------------- Re: SERVICE PINS By: Vince53 Date: May 10, 2022, 7:01 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Welcome aboard, Joey! Most Lionel Service pins are in the $50 range IF they are in good condition. But prices vary widely from less that $10 to almost $200. Many posters think that you should keep them as family heirlooms, but here is a place on eBay that sells them: (HTM) https://www.ebay.ca/sch/i.html?_nkw=lionel+service+pin #Post#: 2965-------------------------------------------------- Re: SERVICE PINS By: JOEYBONES1950 Date: May 11, 2022, 12:33 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for your reply. I found an auction site that listed some sold at auction, some sold for close to $500. I located a collector who owns a train store. He bought all three for a good price. I too though they would be a nice heirloom. I have 3 grown sons who had no interest in them as such. *****************************************************
