The layout I have set up is about 8 ft by 12 ft. There are 3 loops(50 straight pieces 35 curved) and 12-14 switches. I purchased an 80 watt transformer to power it, but it is clearly not enough. I need to know how much power I am going to need before I start purchasing more equipment. Thanks Dave #Post#: 388-------------------------------------------------- Re: Power required By: Oscalerail Date: November 26, 2013, 4:14 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I would get a ZW. If you have the money and interest in the hobby. Personally, I love the MTH z4000. I will refer you to the MTH z4000 review on YouTube by oscalerail. #Post#: 442-------------------------------------------------- Re: Power required By: Js gorden Date: December 17, 2013, 4:53 pm --------------------------------------------------------- How many points are you powering the track at?
