Lionel Trainsounds Whistle Tender Wiring Question
       By: ab1dq Date: February 2, 2017, 7:36 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
       Hello Model Train Friends,
I'm not a model railroad enthusiast, but I'm attempting to help
my dentist who gave me what I believe is a Lionel Trainsounds
Whistle Tender from circa 2007. He said that it no longer works
and there was a disconnected blue wire that comes out of the
tender in front of the forward trucks.
I offered to resolder it for him, but I can not figure out where
it should be attached to. Can somebody help me?
It is a single blue wire that comes through a hole in the floor
of the tender by itself. I'm guessing that it either should be
attached somewhere to the front truck, or I notice on the
connecting arm (coupler?) that protrudes forward towards the
engine, there is a tiny hole along side the C clip - perhaps it
       gets attached there?
Please feel free to email me at ab1dq@arrl.net if you can help.

I have a vintage 1978 Blue Comet with sounds of steam where the
board is in the tender too. It has a line coming out of the
tender that hooks up to the engine. I can't vouch for that being
what you have but the concept looks similar. Just my 2 cents
       worth.
