Is it possible to bend the metal back in to place on the cab of my loco? I just purchased it and would like to refurbish it. Thanks for any impact. Jumbo. #Post#: 1805-------------------------------------------------- Re: Bent Cab roof on 675 By: Jumbo1965 Date: December 17, 2017, 8:16 am --------------------------------------------------------- I'm sorry I should have proof read this post. I am using a cell phone and it spell checked for me. The cab roof is bent. Must have been dropped. Thank you for any input. #Post#: 1806-------------------------------------------------- Re: Bent Cab roof on 675 By: TrainLarry Date: December 17, 2017, 10:29 am --------------------------------------------------------- Hard impacts may bend them without cracking, but straightening them is almost impossible. I have heard that if you heat the affected area, you may be able to gently bend the affected area back into place. The boiler (with the cab) is a casting, and as such cannot be bent cold without cracking. Larry *****************************************************
