Tried several things to clean them but nothing seems to work, especially with the oxidation or white deposits. It eventually re-appears once dried. Is there a secret to cleaning off the outside shell, possibly something oil based? Thanks in advance for your help. Happy Rails! dave #Post#: 2089-------------------------------------------------- Re: Oxidation on Diecast Shell Body...How do I clean it off By: DC Rail and Hobby Depot Date: January 21, 2019, 11:42 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Thanks Gents! I read in another forum where a gentlemen used simply liquid dish soap, warm water and a soft brush. Didn't think it would work, but I'll be darned if it didn't. Took 99% of the stuff off after a few gentle scrubbings. Maybe I'll use that method and then dry with the hair dryer! Best of both suggestions. Thanks again. *****************************************************
