I know from other non-train items that the oils used back then did eventually dry out and leave a gummy residue. I was thinking about trying silicon lubricant, as I found that to be an excellent choice for my tools. Any suggestions, anybody, on would be a good lubricant for the Lionel wheels? #Post#: 2403-------------------------------------------------- Re: Suggested lubrication for c. 1950s rolling stock wheels By: TrainLarry Date: May 17, 2020, 3:02 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Labelle #107 is the oil for our trains.
