Hear about that woman who was accused of shoplifting because
they thought she was hiding crap under her shirt? Yeah, she was
PREGNANT.
I don't know if the employees and the cop involved were
seriously just idiots (maybe they're just stupid, clueless
guys?), or if racism (because yes, she was a black woman, and it
was North Carolina, after all) played into this too.
This is by far the dumbest crap I have ever read.

I saw that Too. And tbh I think it was a lot of both things.
Like how in the hell can ppl be so dumb. I’ve been hugely
pregnant in stores and never had that happen. I couldn’t help
but to think that it’s Bc I’m not black. Imagine the humility
that woman suffered.

Racism. Although I can't blame the police. (and I'm not a huge
fan). but the person who couldn't tell a pregnant woman from
someone stuffing their clothes with items is an idiot. glad
he/she was fired.

The stupid bitch couldn't have someone check security cameras
before accusing a customer of shoplifting? Especially since she
didn't actually see the customer try to shoplift anything?
