All this is exactly what I was talking about. Ms. Warren going
on about the problems at the border, the horror of families
being separated, and wants something done about it all,
preferably something that would make all those at the border
happy. Then we have all the articles about the tragic death of a
young woman, and that her killer was/is an illegal immigrant.
The discussions go on and on, nothing is accomplished at all and
it happens not only on social media sites but also among those
who do have the power to do something, to make a change.
It won't happen any time soon if at all unless we stop allowing
immigration to be an emotional issue and begin looking at it in
the same manner as we do other issues and the laws that apply to
them.

The family of the young woman who was killed publicly asked that
her death not be used as a football in the immigration debate.
The man who allegedly killed her was here illegally. The reason
he killed her is because she said no.
There is no justification or real reason for the separation of
children at the border, and there are still hundreds waiting to
be reunited with their families.
How about we have a conversation about why women can't go
jogging alone, or wear certain clothes, or do any number of
other things because some violent man might attack them, and if
they resist, kill them?

Why would an American citizen be deported? But let’s say the
muderer was an illegal immigrant who was white from Britain I’d
still be calling for all illegal immigrants to be deported. I
don’t care if people who came here illegally are getting
separated from their kids. They broke the law. If an American
breaks the law they get separated from their kids.

Not for crossing a border illegally. This is a legal matter
that can be dealt with without separating children from their
parents.
