       Christmas Greetings 2023

       Well that was the year that was or wasn't as far as Motown was
       concerned. 2023 has to go down as the worst year for lack of
       Motown releases for over 25 years! 2024 looks like it's going to
       be much the same! It was another year that for me flew by in an
       almighty rush. It was a far from perfect year but certainly
       better than some. 'Old age does not come by itself', a saying
       that made no sense when I was younger but now I fully understand
       it.
       As for MT, well as you know I'm disappointed in the lack of
       interest which is why I asked the question 'is Motown dead'!  I
       feel like I have failed but am unable to do anything about it.
       Lack of product + lack of interest = apathy! I spend several
       hours each week searching for articles and music to post which I
       hope may be of interest. Sadly only the faithful few respond for
       which I'm grateful. Even MT's recent excellent write up in Adam
       White's West Grand Boulevard blog was met with very little
       interest!
       I'll be taking a holiday from 21st Dec - 5th Jan so will not be
       posting but please don't let that stop you. Paul is taking care
       of business so you are in good hands.

       happiness for 2024.

       Have a wonderful break John you deserve it for your tireless
       work - I do try and keep involved but sometimes my steadfastness
       takes a back seat.
