       Creator: Physics Puzzle Maker
       Game: Spectrum of Light
       By: Tbremise
To start off, today I'll be reviewing a game by tbremise:
“Spectrum of Light.” Tbremise is actually quite well known on
the main site and is mostly recognized for his most famous
series, “The World of Whomp." He seems to be an expert with the
physics creator or so it seems. Though someday I would like to
see him try a different creator for once.
The title may mislead some people. Art? Well art isn’t
really my thing but I’ll give it a go. Then I saw the
screenshots and boy did that change my perspective of things.
The playfield was colorless. That’s strange. I thought art was
full of pretty colors? I was expecting something more, I don’t
know… colorful. Where are all the colors? This was going through
my mind when I first saw the screenshots, and I was a little
confused. But even though there were no colors, I was impressed.
For some reason I just had a feeling that it wasn't going to
blend in with other PPG's. I knew from the look of the
screenshots that it was going to be unique. And I was right, all
the way from the start of the game to the final touches, in my
eyes I witnessed unique style. It was totally different from
what I expected. That is what I love about this game; there are
just not too many people out there who got unique style. But
‘Spectrum of Light’ has got a totally new style to it and I
think that tbremise should continue down this path.
Wait! Hold up! So were painting the world? Aw… I see. Let us
start with the story. You are basically trying to bring color
back into the world. You have the power to sustain colors, but
when you fall into a deep sleep, you wake up to find the world a
dark, colorless place. A world without color, I wonder what life
would be like. There would be no sunshine or pretty flowers or…
hold up! Let’s not get off topic here. Does that sum it up for
you? But it’s not as easy as it looks. No, if you’re thinking
that this is art class, you better get out of here. He added
puzzles, just to spice things up. Every puzzle that you
complete, adds color to the world. Now that I have explained the
story, let us move on to the puzzles.
Puzzles bring back the colors of the “rainbow.” Hmm.
That’s interesting, I have never heard of that before. But hey,
let’s just go with the flow of the game. To be honest, the
puzzles were somewhat disappointing. That doesn’t mean that the
game is terrible. Let’s just make this clear, every game has
some flaws. You could also put it this way; every piece of art
has its own flaws. That doesn’t mean that the game isn’t good.
It’s just I found that the puzzles were just too simple for me.
There wasn’t anything special about the puzzles. You know what
I’m saying? Although they were simple, towards the end they did
get a bit more challenging. But in the end, I think that he
could have really put more effort into the puzzles. And I think
if he decides to make a sequel to this game, he should challenge
the players more with the puzzles.
The concept is probably the biggest factor to the physics
creator. If you don’t got yourself a good concept, you most
likely don’t got a very good game. As soon as you find a good,
fresh concept then all you have to do is let your imagination
run wild. Spectrum of light fulfills the first part of the
equation, however falls short on the second part of the
equation. The concept was impressive. It was unique and
different. It had a great feel to it. But you need all of the
variables to solve an equation. I really think that tbremise
held back a little bit on letting his imagination run wild. For
one the puzzles didn’t blow you away. And every level looked the
same, I almost felt like I was playing the same level over and
over again. Except for the fact, that the puzzles were different
in each level. Overall, I loved the concept but I think
tbremise held back on his imagination.
Alright, let us wrap up the review with the conclusion. The
game was truly a piece of art. Like I already said, art isn’t
really my thing, but this game was outstanding. The game seemed
to fulfill most of the variables. That sums it up. Now the real
question is: Was this game feature worthy? I truly think that
this game deserved the feature. But it was really just barely
across the line of feature worthy. If it wasn’t for the unique
style and feel to it, I don’t think it would deserve the
feature. This game truly was a magnificent piece of art. Now on
to the cons, pros and the ratings.
       Cons:

       Puzzles were too simple.
       Lack of imagination.
       Pros:
       Unique Style
       Story
       Concept
       Ratings:

       Puzzles- **/*****
       Concept- ***/*****
       Style- *****/*****
       Overall- ***/*****

Alright that’s all I got to say. I want to give tbremise a
round of applause for making a truly epic game. Farewell, until
       next time.

You know, I was going to Accept you into being a reviewer. As I
was reading this, I was thinking; "This is a really good review.
He might be our second reviewer!" But as I went on through
reading this review, I thought of something; "This may have been
written by a professional, due to the fact that his previous
writing pieces are not nearly up to par with this one." So I
went onto the Sploder Mainsite and went to tbremise's page.
Clicked on the game, Spectrum of Light. So I scroll down a bit,
still with me here? I saw a review down there. A single review
made by flippenout. The reviews were nearly identical, you only
changed a few words to make it seem like your own writing piece.
Flippenout is not here to do the review for you. You are your
own person, with your own thoughts, and we want to hear what YOU
think. Plagiarizing is NOT okay here. Your reviewer hold has
been extended to 1 month. I would appreciate if next time, you
       do not plagiarize. Thank you.
