Spin the Wheel - Working on a Doll 729/5 Ferris Wheel
       By: oilfield_steam Date: July 13, 2019, 4:57 pm

Many of you no doubt saw this Doll Ferris Wheel on eBay
recently. I put in a snipe bid and won by the smallest of
       margins.
The toy is in very good shape but is missing a few parts.
I hope to chronicle here a moderately successful restoration
       journey.

What happened to the "peanut riders" ;) :D
Do you have any pictures of what the base paint is supposed to
       look like?

       Thanks guys. Much appreciated.
Nick -> for ideas on the base, here are some other 729/5s:

The base may be original paint. I cannot see that any re-paint
or touch-up has been done anywhere on it.
Where the uprights meet the base look to be original.
