I put in a snipe bid and won by the smallest of margins. The toy is in very good shape but is missing a few parts. I hope to chronicle here a moderately successful restoration journey. Much appreciated. Nick -> for ideas on the base, here are some other 729/5s: (HTM) http://www.gas-storage.com/steam/doll_ferris_wheel/22.jpg (HTM) http://www.gas-storage.com/steam/doll_ferris_wheel/25.jpg The base may be original paint. I cannot see that any re-paint or touch-up has been done anywhere on it. Where the uprights meet the base look to be original. #Post#: 11832-------------------------------------------------- Re: Spin the Wheel - Working on a Doll 729/5 Ferris Wheel By: Hero Date: July 14, 2019, 7:33 pm --------------------------------------------------------- That is really nice.
