       Scratch built electrc

I've built several boats over the years, mostly steam powered, a
       couple of them were electric.
Last spring I found a couple of outboards on line and decided to
build a boat to mount them on.
Here's what I came up with.

Here is a short video where I show off my superb driving skills
       :) , enjoy

       A neat build.
It looks like the boat survived the mild collision with the swim
       dock.
Where did you source the outboard motor?
Would love to see a closeup of the RC Controls in the Boat.

Neat & clean boat construction there Bill. Are you working from
a plan or is it your own design?
Finished product looks just the thing for the twin
outboards..... though the steering seems just a touch squirrely,
or maybe it's just that the captain has been into the rum locker
       again?!?!? ;c)

A fine vessel you've crafted there Bill with classic sleek
       lines, well done !

Thanks Charlie, I'm sure the collision would have been worse if
       it weren't for my cat-like reflexes. :)
I got the two motors from Ebay in 2018, it takes me a while to
       get around to a build.
Anyway my Ebay purchases only show back to 2019 so I'll look for
the instructions, they should have the manufacturer's name on
       them.
as far as the wiring it was basicaly just an ESC a reciever and
       a battery.

       Thanks Daniel,
Definately squirrely steering, ok maybe I passed by the rum
locker on my way to the dock, but just for a moment. ;)
The plan I based it on was an old one called the Dolphin 16.
       [attachimg=1]
I had to scale it up as the outboards are huge, as you can see
in the photo below they are about 10" high.
       [attachimg=2]
I had only one outboard installed on the boat when I the video
       was taken.

       Thanks Bruce,
I tend to gravitate toward the older boat models for thier
classic look and simplicity when building.
