       Early Toy Solenoid Motor

This early toy motor came up on Ebay recently. I'd not seen
one quite like it before. Although it was listed as
non-working, I bought it with hopes that it would not take too
much to get it working. The other interesting thing I noticed
was that the name "Earl Horn" was scratched on the the underside
of the base. I have several other Horn solenoid motors, and
also know that Gil has one, as well. I thought perhaps that
this could be owned or built by the same man. It did not take
much to get it working, as described in the video. This will
make a unique, one of a kind addition to my early motor
       collection.

Very nice save on that early solenoid motor, it certainly went
       to the right home.
