Nearly ready... many bolts set and the tricky clutch also
works...!

Today in the workshop... The apprentice to the boss:
"Boooooss, I've got an ideaaaaa ... Instead of turning the two
step die out of the solid steel, and grinding until the doctor
comes, it would be much better to take something that is already
half-finished" ... 8)

... and the boss answers the trainee ... "Yeeeppp, doooo ittt,
that saves time and material" ... ;D

In addition, the die is now also exchangeable ..! :o

Yesterday:
Oilers drilled, tapped and installed, temporary clutch pedal
iron wire replaced with 2mm brass wire and homebuilt adjustable
fastener

Today:
eccentric head bearing parts turned, drilled, tapped and
installed on matching shortened shaft

In the background my latest acquisition, a 8in tall 1910 J.FALK
cast iron Band Saw ... never seen one before... :o

After the little "SCHOENNER" interruption of yesterday, I made
it today to finish the bear with the punch fastener... The
connecting rod will have to wait until tomorrow..

From the very beginning until now, including the connecting rod
tomorrow and some details like the adjustment bolts aside the
sled and some more fine tuning & adjustments, it might have
taken nearly 50 working hours to build it.
One more skilled model mechanic than me with a better machine
tool equipment than I have will make it possibly in less than 30
hours...
