It looked like a Stuart 500 series, but it’s not. It is custom built, and very well designed. It utilizes a burner that I’m testing tomorrow. It looks to me like a jet-less burner. The maker must have built it similar to a BBQ grill burner regulated by a valve. #Post#: 60725-------------------------------------------------- Re: Custom Built Boiler Restoration with Super Heater and Unique Burner By: SteamTech Date: February 23, 2024, 11:44 pm --------------------------------------------------------- After disassembly and cleaning I have the parts laid out. I will use a Dremel tool with a brass brush attachment to finish polishing the pipe fittings. I think this boiler was designed like an industrial boiler and scaled down. It has 3/4 water circulation tubes in the fire core tube. #Post#: 62856-------------------------------------------------- Re: Custom Built Boiler Restoration with Super Heater and Unique Burner By: Tadfafty Date: April 20, 2024, 5:25 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Very interesting. Yes it does look like an industrial boiler. *****************************************************
