Nice Jensen Model 30, For Sale..

Here I have a nice Jensen 30 up for sale, this is the later
1982-85 version. All photos were taken outdoors in natural
light, since flash photography is difficult due to the large
       amount of bright nickel plating.
I acquired this engine in nice condition overall, but it did
have visible white oxidation on the boiler and engine
brightwork, and the sight glass had a a fair extent of water
scale inside. I carefully polished the boiler, pipes, and
engine, but as usual, the plating is not 100% perfectly clean,
which is evident if viewed up close in very bright light. But,
in normal ambient light it basically looks flawless, like new,
as shown in the photos. Also, the sight glass assembly was
completely re-furbished, with all new washers from Jensen. I
have run this engine about a half-dozen times since, and it
performs flawlessly with no leaks. The cord I assume is
original, and is in excellent condition.
As for flaws, the base does have three very small spots
where there was loss of finish and they now have minor surface
rust, and there are a few other small rubs and scuffs, but very
minor (see photos). One of the two ports on the boiler top did
apparently suffer a ding at some point and is very slightly bent
inward. But it is barely noticeable and there are no functional
       issues.
Asking $325, plus whatever the shipping cost is to buyer's
location. Payment through paypal family/friends option, or check
by mail. Please send me a private message if interested - Thanks
       - Greg

That is a real beauty for certain and for sure.
These really don't come up for sale very often at all, and even
less often in this fine condition.
Should make a superb addition for any true Jensen collector or
       steam enthusiast!

Thanks, yes I have seen very few of them offered for sale
over the years, which is puzzling since they were made in
several versions over a fairly long time span. From what I have
read, Jensen stopped selling them because the boilers were
difficult to make, so I am guessing that maybe they were also
priced higher than most of their other engines. If so, then that
might explain why there are fewer of them than so many of the
other models that were made during the same time periods (?).
