2012 Men's Soccer Season

Stony Brook is playing at Storrs, CT against the Connecticut
Huskies on a exhibition rematch of last season tonight. The
Seawolves were announced to the favorites in the Preseason Poll
to win the conference. Lets go Stony Brook!

0-0 Draw. We where able to draw against the #4 team in the
country. Thats good stuff

From what I have seen as far as recruiting we are building a
very strong team. More than enough to win the AE and advance
back to the NCAA's.

Very impressive 5-0 win yesterday against FDU, which finished
2011 with an RPI of 56. SBU may have another team on the
national stage this year.

Impressive isnt the word. I dont know that much about soccer
but 5-0 is a blowout especially agains a highly rated program
like FDU. Villanova is next!

Raphael Abreu score in Overtime to give Stony Brook the lead
over Lehigh. Lehigh was a great team last year (RPI #88) so this
would be another big win for us.
