SNC Weekend Blitz 9/7/2012

WAHOO!!! The weekend is here!!! Time to Blitz!!!
Just like in weeks past, we post a Blitz challenge every Friday
to get your mojo flowing for the weekend.
Sometimes they are a sketch, sometimes they are a technique.
This week it's a bi-product use!!! LOL!!!

We all have some sort of die cutting tool, whether it is a hand
held page trimmer, a super cool cutting system (like Cricut,
Sizzix, or Spellbinders), or a nice sharp pair of fussy cutting
scissors. We make beautiful embellishments for our layouts and
throw out the frame around it also known as the "negative".

This weekend you are going to put your negative to good use. Use
a negative space product in a paper creation. It can be a
layout, a card, a paper craft of any sort. You can use your
negative as a stencil for paint, decorate it to use as a sort of
frame or simply include it in your project as a layer among your
papers. The choice is yours. I know I have a stack of negatives
in my stash. Hoping to put some of them to good use with this
challenge.
I am borrowing some samples from the internet as I have been
under the weather and have not completed this blitz ahead of
time. Please bear with me...

This is an easy challenge to combine with some of our other
fabulous challenges at Scrap 'N Chat. Have fun with this!!!

Nice challenge Resa I have some I think if not I can make them I
have to see what is that stash box first I have negatives to
chipboard flowers and some color wash HMMMM ideas a forming Got
to eat my lunch first ....

Ok,Resa...... this looks like a lot of fun, thanks for the
ideas!! That flower card and Christmas card really caught my
eye!!

I played with this and my color wash Trash canned it then I
tried ink and tear drops trash canned it also so I am back to
being normal and going to just do a negative from my cricut
sometime today hopefully but I had a blast playin with the other
stuff.Thanks for the blitz Resa

Great challenge Resa I think I am going to work on last weekends
blitz now and probably do this sometime I know I can use the
sketch from last weekend and incorporate your challenge kill two
birds with one stone! Wait am I not allowed to do that?
