Tuesday!! I think...

Good morning! the days are running together for me this week as
I prep for the arrival of my parents on Thursday. they have not
been to visit us in the carolinas in a couple of years as my dad
had to have a bone marrow transplant a year and a half ago and
is finally released to travel. needless to say, they are dying
to get up here to see the new house. in fact they are leaving to
drive here from the doctors office on wednesday!!! looking
forward to their visit, but i still have lots to do before they
get here. what is up in your neck of the woods?

Resa, that's exciting and such good news that your dad is doing
better. Hope you get everything done.
quiet day, I work 5 hours today, then taking Natalie to buy some
new school uniforms. Other than that pretty quiet.

I'm sort of excited to go home. Back to reality and plumbing
problems. New Orleans was fun and picturesque. The blog for the
past few days is loaded with pix.

My sons's fever finally broke this morning. He woke up with it
on Saturday. Stayed in the 101 range with occasional spikes of
103.8. I'm keeping him home today just in case.
Kelly has home school. I'm finishing the laundry and doing some
grocery shopping.
I hope to scrap this afternoon!

Good luck Resa! Poor boy Janet! Hope he feels better soon!
I got nothing planned.. making pork chops tonight.. need to sit
down with the nanny since she's been lazy.. ugh.. she left sippy
cups with old juice and food laying around and Bella of course
went and drank/ate it.. makes me sick.. I already told her
lastweek not to leave food laying around!! ugh... common sense
people.. common sense...

Milie, my DD#1 had issues with both of her nannies and finally
put Joey in daycare when he was a year old. She found out that
"just watching the kid" does not include picking up after him
and herself (the nanny). Good nannies are hard to find!!
I'm at work, it's FREEZING outside! When I left this morning it
was 19 degrees out! Looks like it's gonna stay cold for the
rest of the week, so I guess the snow we got last night ain't
going anywhere!

Hi girls ... just checking in, a bit late but you know you do
these things when you find a moment. I've been in all day
pretty much except for the occasional trip outside for the dog,
it's freezing out though. I had a bit of toe surgery yesterday,
so I can't wear any hard shoes right now. I crushed my toe this
past September, and the found the nail ready to fall off this
past Sunday, I was afraid that it might get caught on something
and rip off, so I saw a doctor yesterday, he removed the nail,
but nipped the skin a bit and I think that's the most painful
part of it. Hoping it will heal up quickly. Spoke to an old
friend this morning ... quite a blast from the past, always nice
though to hear a familiar voice and catch up. Hope you're all
well and staying warm.
