       Bling frustration!!

Last night I was trying to get a large bling seahorse off the
backing and onto my layout. Boy, do those big blings lose their
shape once you pull them off!! I got it on my layout, but it's
not a normal looking seahorse!! The head is all bent out of
       shape. Grrrr!!!
Anybody have some tips on how to remove bling from the backing
and laying it on your layout without distorting?

Sorry about your seahorse. You can always whack it up and use it
       individually.

could you put a layer of masking tape or something on top to
hold the shape while you peel off the backer paper? then remove
       the tape after placement?
I know you can do the same sort of thing with the cricut when
you cut vinyl to hold the shape together.

What I do is little by little remove the backing, it's still a
PITA but is the only way I have found the works for me. Resa's
       idea is a great one.
