because some of my pictures were damaged in those photo albums
that you stuck them to the background and put a sheet of plastic
over the - I think they were called magnetic albums.

I started scrapping after years of my ex-SIL getting me Creative
Memories stuff for Christmas and birthdays! lol I didn't
really like how it looked so I just filed the stuff away. Saw a
Creating Keepsakes magazine and realized there was much more to
it than just white pages and stickers and it just went off from
there!

I started when my favorite eldest son joined the Army and I
wanted him to have something from home. It was really awful and
thankfully fell apart so I got a do-over. That was 12 years ago.

I have been scrapping in some form since high school, but my
first "real" album was a sticky album my MIL bought for me to
scrap our honeymoon.

My aunt had invited me to a couple Creative Memories parties
that I didn't go to. I told her I wasn't talented enough for
scrapping. Finally I gave in & went. While I was there, I
learned it was for ME, not for anyone else. As long as I like
the page, that's all that matters. ;D
