Are there any Memorial Day festivities in your hometown this
weekend.

I live in a big city and I can't find one event honoring the
veterans. It's sad. Stan is in West Palm Beach where he is at
the Airport waiting for veterans that are just coming home today
and they have a little celebration, but I find it very sad that
a big city like Miami has nothing at least nothing that I can
see in the events calendar of Miami honoring the vets.

Wow, that's unusual for a big city. I know the VFW around here
makes a point to visit the schools around Memorial Day. I don't
know if the town had a parade or not. They usually do, but I
don't remember seeing anything this year. Bummer.

We have something going on in our small town - but we're not
there. Its sad that a lot of these traditions / parades have
fallen by the wayside.

In the Ohio twon I lived in they did but I live in the country
now and I am not sure about the little towns around.
