Actually he's the first one I have encountered that actually
cared about home decor and on the surface it appears that we are
miles apart in taste. However, as we have redone some rooms in
the house I have found that we're pretty much on the same page
with a lot of things which is a pleasant surprise.

My DH doesn't get into it much but he will say wow that color
would look great or that picture would look wonderful in our LR.
He always right lol....

Furniture, yes and we always decide on the big stuff together.
He doesn't care about the decorating stuff, but usually likes
what I pick out.

We seem to run on the same color palate as far as likes...havent
had any decor disagreements. He doesn't really care whatever I
do, his one request, "as long as it makes sense".
