Why? #Post#: 27589-------------------------------------------------- Re: SQOTD June 10, 2013 By: SherrieScraps Date: June 10, 2013, 6:01 am --------------------------------------------------------- I almost always use PP for my base. I feel it gives a more colorful feel to the layout. I use card stock as a base only when the pp I want to use is too thin. Then I just leave a little bit of card stock showing to frame it. #Post#: 27590-------------------------------------------------- Re: SQOTD June 10, 2013 By: maddawg Date: June 10, 2013, 8:19 am --------------------------------------------------------- I usually go for PP and build from there. PP adds depth and color. Every now and then I'll make my own background sometimes c/s but mostly PP. #Post#: 27602-------------------------------------------------- Re: SQOTD June 10, 2013 By: Barb Date: June 11, 2013, 7:00 am --------------------------------------------------------- PP but I often start with CS and cover it mostly lol #Post#: 27608-------------------------------------------------- Re: SQOTD June 10, 2013 By: KikiJames Date: June 11, 2013, 7:42 am --------------------------------------------------------- I used to only use cardstock, but now I use both. It just depends on the project and the look I am going for. #Post#: 27611-------------------------------------------------- Re: SQOTD June 10, 2013 By: Milie Date: June 11, 2013, 7:51 am --------------------------------------------------------- I do both! It depends! #Post#: 27712-------------------------------------------------- Re: SQOTD June 10, 2013 By: Belle Jingle Date: June 16, 2013, 6:57 am --------------------------------------------------------- I think mostly pp because then I use the cardstock as the matte for the photo. This is where I have my trouble with the layering as mentioned in the post about what we would like to learn, because the mixing & matching of the pp is where I often struggle. *****************************************************
