My 19 yr old niece was hit by a drunk driver last night.

She was spun into the median concrete wall from behind. She said
she feels "okay", but will probably get checked out today. She
is a little sore. Her car is pretty messed up. The diver's car
was totaled and he was taken to the hospital by stretcher (Not
sure why).
ETA: It happened on the highway. The witness said the driver was
driving crazy for at least a mile. The witness was just dialing
911 when he saw niece get hit. The driver tried to pass her and
clipped her right rear bumper and spun her completely around.
The driver hit her, hit the right barricade and slid across the
highway and hit the median. His airbags deployed. As niece was
in a tailspin, she slammed into a road sign and the median.

Please say a prayer that she will continue to feel okay and that
she will check out good at the hospital.

Oh my goodness, thank God she is ok. Prayers that nothing goes
wrong for her. It's so scary these drunk drivers.

Oh my goodness! Hopefully she hasn't had too much residual
effects after the accident. I know sometimes we think we're
okay at first but then are pretty sore days afterward.
I just don't understand why someone would drink & drive.
