do you assemble your page with journaling in mind or is it an
afterthought?

I usually like to have a story in my head when I assemble a
page, however, there are times when I have absolutely no idea
what the story can be. Sometimes I speculate or just use the 5
W's. (who what when where and why). I like to have something on
there. And depending how windy it is - sometimes I start with
the journaling.

It's an afterthought......<sigh>
Many, many times I've done a layout which I love and then
realize I didn't leave space for the story behind the photos.
When will I learn?? I seem to remember the memories as I'm
scrapping but always fail to put them on paper until it's too
late. Gotta change that!!

Sherrie - attach it to the back!
Some LOs don't need journaling..... a wildflower for
instance.... Unless there is a good story behind the pic.
I did a scraplift a while back where you actually journaled on
the embellishments,,,, I was a little leery, but I do love the
way it looks on it.

It depends. I really don't think about it much. I do try to
journal something but not always do.
