Lots going on with me.. But I am in SCRAP gear and look forward
to 2014!!

Good Morning!
I know most of you have NO clue who I am but I have a few really
good friends here that invited me back a while ago!!
I am quiet mostly, struggling with Ovarian Cancer and chemo
but... good news is they got it ALL and I had NO lymph
involvements. My challenge mostly is the chemo which kicks my
butt and keeps me tired, weak and fatigued most days.
Scrapping keeps my mind focused on the positive and I am
starting to feel like it's time to start scrapping my journey!
The colour of the ribbon for my particular cancer is Teal! I
love it!!
I am enjoying the last few days before Christmas - I actually
have more days than you do since we're doing our family
Christmas on the 29th!!
I just wish the chemo didn't steal my taste buds --- I want to
taste the holiday goodness! BUT BONUS!! no weight gain for me
this year ! LOL I'm down 30 and counting!!

I am glad your feeling better hang in there hugs and prayers
your way. I think scrapping is a great therapy it relaxes us and
let our minds go where we are happy.

Nice to meet you Gabi, I hope you have a good prognosis after
you finish the chemo. My DH had pancreatic cancer and he lost a
lot of weight too. Remember to drink lots of water to flush out
the chemo chemicals!
I hope to get back into scrapping after the first of the year
too. I had a appendectomy in November and it really set me back
a bit. I do have lots of new photos to scrap and want to get
started!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Thanks for replying to my post :)
I'm LOVING the creative stuff I'm seeing around here and wanting
to get my butt busy! I'm a creative scrapper and also have
started playing with Project Life - I also love Smash Books,
traditional 12x12, 8x8 and altered stuff... Im all over the
place.
With my current issues I'm finding Project Me easy and
creatively satisfying at the same time lol
Anyone else loving Project Life? I'm gonna play today- It's too
dang cold to go out! HA!

I bought PL stuff but haven't used any of it except for a few of
the cards on a regular layout. I want to add those PL pages
into my regular scrapbooks with the many pictures that I don't
scrap. You know, you have a party and you take a dozen great
pictures. Rather than scrap them all, I'd like to scrap a
couple and then put the rest in to the PL style layout.
We will see!

I love the PL stuff but my life is way to boring on a daily
basis to actuall do it.

I have lots and LOTS of PL stuff. but I think I have only ever
used it for quickie cards.
I have been very out of the loop for quite a while myself Gabi.
I am trying to jump start myself back into this too. I truly
love to create this stuff, but find my time seriously lacking. I
decided to take a break from teaching scrap classes this month
so maybe I can do some stuff on my own for me and my family.
then maybe I will be more creative again. the classes I am
forced to teach are really poor and I really hate to teach them.
They zap my creative spark.

I love PL.. I don't do it the traditional week by week way... I
can't keep up with it to do that so I just do it like regular
scrapping. I could try to it week by week but I would seriously
fail LOL!!!!
