I am home today from work, as I am having a lot of pain in my neck and head today. I have to limit my time online these days too and be very careful I use good body mechanics when I craft at the table. I haven't used my digital scrapbooking stuff for about a month now. I am doing physio and its starting to help me. I think now that I understand what I need to do when I hurt it helps. But enough complaining! What's everyone doing on this Friday? It is a pretty cold day here...about -18 C but that is a lot warmer than it has been. This week I have been Scrapbooking some of the photos from the Christmas celebrations over the last few yrs. You can see them on my blog. I think its a combo of x-fit and getting a sinus infection which I am trying to combat. Picked up our RV and its still NOT fixed. GRRRRRRR!!!! And don't it just figure. Which is ok - I'm not sure I'm up to an overnight anyway - its a lot of work. #Post#: 30482-------------------------------------------------- Re: Its Friday By: ScrapHappyGabi Date: January 31, 2014, 9:21 pm --------------------------------------------------------- @benji I hope you are feeling better and that you had a productive and relaxing day! @Resa - how did the house inspection go? they failed us 3 times when we bought this house... faulty fire alarms... the builder had to reinstall them not once, not twice but THREE times (three time's the charm right?) before they passed us! Hey @Maddawg - I hope you got some rest and that you've found your 2nd wind! What's with the RV - what work do they still need to do?? My day was spent at Chemo.. Drs appt at 930 then chemo at 10... prep first till 11:30 (magnesium, potassium, fluids and benadryl) then AMG (trial drug) then the big guns. I think I got home around 7:40 I am beat. I don't feel it right away but tomorrow night around this time the effects start.. and they get worse and worse till I can't get out of bed but that lasts only a few days (4-8 days ish) then I start back on the upswing. if I am quiet, it's because I am asleep. Chemo knocks me RIGHT out and I dont have a choice. It's a form of medically induced narcolepsy and its so disturbing and weird. LOL!!! NO PAIN NO GAIN! I have ONE big Chemo left 21 Feb- I can do this!! xx #Post#: 30484-------------------------------------------------- Re: Its Friday By: Resa Date: January 31, 2014, 9:32 pm --------------------------------------------------------- You bet you can Gabi!! ;D we have been in our house for a year now. this builder guarantees an inspection after your first year. We have had hardly any issues this past year. we have been waiting for them to come out so we can paint rooms, hang pictures and such. If we did any of those things prior to this inspection, they would not repair the issues. We have about 40 - 50 little pieces of blue tape everyone for the popped nail locations and any settlement cracks. I just posted on my facebook page that I keep forgetting they are there and have scared myself about a half a dozen times today seeing them out of the corner of my eye and thinking they were bugs. LOL!!! The sheet rock guys were out today and spackled everything. now we will wait for the painter to come and the plumber to check out lines. we had nothing major at all. we were lucky. in the 48 days it took for them to build this house last year, we never had a drip of rain. so we have many less settlement issues than most of our neighbors. #Post#: 30592-------------------------------------------------- Re: Its Friday By: ScrapHappyGabi Date: February 2, 2014, 12:58 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Resa, I hope your little 'blue bugs' are taken care of after inspection!! *****************************************************
