SNC Weekend Blitz 4-13-12

Yep...its Friday the 13th...and what better way to start the
weekend, than with a challenge. A very challenging
challenge...muwahahaha...
I've been thinking...we haven't altered anything
yet...hehehehehe...Mother's day is coming up...So my challenge
to you is to alter or re-use something!
Tania did a great job with the button frame.
I'm taking one of those 12 slotted 7 gypies thingies and using
it for some affirmations. I originally was going to use it for
Tim's tags...but I really need to work on loving and accepting
myself. So, I'm going to pretty up some affirmations, stick
them in, and read them daily.
Here are some other ideas:
Use a canvas, use an old frame, alter a sketch book. Grab an
old can and reuse. I was thinking about altering a flower
pot...putting gems or something...sticking photos of the kids on
sticks (maybe ontop of big rosettes)...sticking them in the pot
with some other flowers on sticks and giving it to Mike's mother
for mother's day.
Oh...how about a wreath. Soo many ideas, so little time.

how did you know I needed to alter another sketch book this
weekend? LOL!!! hopefully i will get to the store to purchase it
soon.

I need to alter 6 terracotta planter for the teacher's gifts.
Maybe I can get to walmart and buy a couple to start. I LOVE
that topiary.

Here is mine! I used a frame.. I used this new paper I bought on
Friday! I fussy cut the comb shapes..
This will be a gift to someone that was here from Holland for a
few years and going back this month..
