By: maddawg Date: March 13, 2014, 7:01 am --------------------------------------------------------- Same ole same ole. Not much else going on. Need to find the ole mojo too. Arrgghhh! #Post#: 31627-------------------------------------------------- Re: Thursday! By: Resa Date: March 13, 2014, 10:03 am --------------------------------------------------------- Day off today. nothing planned. been having such bad headaches lately. hubby and DD are complaining I need to go to the doctors office. I am so not a "doctors office" kind of girl. And i have been going so much lately for other stuff, nothing serious. Just regular "new year" stuff, check ups and such. We have a new insurance company and MAN they are putting me through the ringer. They sent me a letter recently stating that i need to schedule my mammogram in the next month for this year. and if I can't get it scheduled in the next 30 days, I need to get a signed letter from my doctor stating why i can't have it done yet. REALLY!!?? Since when is BCBS my MOM!!!??? And if i recall it is March!!! I have 9 more months to have it done!!! Anyway, I resigned from the scrap instructor portion of my job at M's. I am only working the cash office now until I can find something else. Less stress in general without the pressure to "produce" students for the classroom. But still stressful from the whole management team perspective. Still so bent about them denying my vacation in October for goodness sakes! I will keep my ears up to find something new. I am being a bit picky about the next job. I don't want the long commute anymore and I really want back out of retail again. I have been thinking about going back to school via tele-classroom. The nearest University for me other than UNC Charlotte that carries my program is USC - Columbia. It's a bit of a drive, about 85 miles one way. Not the best choice to take classes. However when I attended USF in Tampa, I commuted over an hour one way every day plus a two hour commute once a week for a class I could only take at the Lakeland campus. But I was 25 back then, and driving was my "thing". Not so much anymore. Now my thing is just staying home unless we are traveling for fun. Ok I rambled on enough for this morning. I hear we have a new grandma in our ranks. Congrats Sherrie!! Enjoy those new twins before they grow up too quickly. #Post#: 31632-------------------------------------------------- Re: Thursday! By: phyllis Date: March 13, 2014, 1:18 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Nothing much here! I understand about Dr appointments and insurance. Going through the same. Good luck! Hope to get my crop room cleaned up this week! #Post#: 31637-------------------------------------------------- Re: Thursday! By: SherrieScraps Date: March 13, 2014, 2:23 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for the well wishes, I am so excited! I now have 3 grandchildren and one step-grand and have reason to snap pictures all day long! Resa, what are you going back to school for? I work at UD and while we do offer some classes totally online, we don't offer many degree programs online. Your best bet for that would be Phoenix or Strayer. #Post#: 31640-------------------------------------------------- Re: Thursday!
