Sunday Morning

Good Morning we take for granted so many things I missed Ice the
most We had a huge power outage here in our State and others I
had my niece and nephew down for there visit and was watching my
DD dog plus my dog DH was in denver working Friday night was
mine kids going to watch a movie to bed early I was going to the
front porch and have a Ice cold beer well the power went out the
kids started screaming the dogs started barking and that was
that

I finally got them to just stay where they were got the lighter
lighting candles and found the flash light 24 hrs later
borrowerd bottled water lake water to flush my toilet and to
just get in to cool off but by the time we walked back we were
so hot again so I so take ICE for granted all I wanted was some
Ice

So I totally forgot about the first will work on my challenge
today and get with it I have coffee and that wonderful thing
called Ice for Ice tea oh and Air conditioning which I don't
care as long as I have a fan but that was not around

good morning.................
sorry about the misery of being without power Barb - really
makes us appreciate the little things.
we're off to Church with Katie (she spent the night) we'll drop
her off at DD's. she will drop her off at our place on the way
to work. We'll get Katie all packed then stop at a friend of
her's from school - he had surgery Monday and she picked out a
book for him. Then off to the airport to meet with Grandma
Judy, they will fly to Tenn. for Katie's 6 week visitation with
her Dad's family. I really, really HATE this part, I'm always a
basket case while she is gone. Don't be surprised if I go MIA -
the Dr. did prescribe some depression meds, so hope they help.
looks like a sunny day - may soak in the spa a bit later to help
me relax. we are having leftovers for dinner so no cooking -
yeah!

Peggy hang in there relax in the pool and scrap some wonderful
pages of that DGD I am sure she will be missing you also.....

Barb - embrace your inner slug and keep cool.
Peggy - hang tough - it'll go by fast.
we had a lovely time last night. had our friends over for some
baked ziti. made them watch all my vacation pictures lol!!! DH
is making all the weeds the same height. Not much else going on.
And boy did time fly - where did June go?????

Good morning, I finally got a good night's sleep. Slept almost
12 hours I do feel so much better today.
Peggy. Hang in there,.6 weeks will go fast.
Barb. Hope you are keeping cool. We take a lot for granted.
Hope your power is restored quickly.
Going to see if DS would come home from his dad to buy chlorine
for the pool it's green because when we were gone, he "forgot"
to do the pool. This kid is going to kill me. Thank God he is
smart and like school or else he would be in a whole lot of
trouble.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day and stays cool, it's so hot!

Good evening everyone I rarely get on here in the a.m. but mom I
am so sorry your power went out that sucks...I know you can get
cool somehow...battery power fans?? LOL!

Didnt have any batteries but we did get in the Lake! Power is on
today it flickerd once the kids went OH NO NOT AGAIN but it came
right back on....
