good morning.
we have Church, DH sings in the choir. a friend of DD & SIL is
coming over to hang out in the pool with them. I hope to get a
layout done. have to figure out something for dinner yet.

I'm not sure what's up. We relaxed yesterday mostly because we
had a gully washer most of the day and even the ducks took
cover. I did get 2 hubs published and I'm hoping I can wind up
the series today. It's been nagging at me. I hate naggin. I also
have some pix that flung themselves over the internet and I'm
totally excited to do them.

Working on my weekly contest entries.... Week 66! and 6 of us
left! Then I hope to put back together the wall hanging I made
at Expo so I can photo and take to work. The lady at the
Make-n-take put the adhesive on, and the paper is not sticking
to the canvas. Stan & I bot a frame for it and he had to
"convince it" to go inside...
Yesterday we had a bear across the river, and we just watched
and listened to a turkey hen cluck in the tree about 35 feet
away from the window. Then she flew across the river. I love
nature!

No kidding...those photos are awesome!
I didn't have a fun day planned...in fact I totally woke up on
the wrong side of the bed...But somehow I recovered. Took Kelly
shopping and picked some scrappy supplies!

worked all day, had so much fun playing art with the kids at the
store. Did a ton of demos and make and takes today. I have the
evening off. planning on watching the closing ceremonies then
off to bed. I was supposed to only work two days this week, but
was added to the schedule for additional kid demos and
promotions. So I am up to 5 days on, 2 off this week. I
appreciate the money, but I really need a couple days off in a
row!! LOL!!!

Wow, I think I'd be scared if I saw a bear that close up! I
would have to check every time I went out the door to make sure
it's not around!
Just finished unpacking from vacation this morning and my father
called, my 81 year old mother has shingles.... So we called the
doctor, got some meds, she has to go see him sometime tomorrow.
<<sigh>>. This is the second time she's had them so we kinda
know what's in store...

janelle, i thought of you last night. I went outside to get my
cell phone out of my car at about 2 am. After I was about
halfway away from the front door to the car, I was shocked by
three HUGE deer standing not fifty feet away from me. two ran
away but just across the street, and the other stood it's
ground. I honked the car alarm and he took a step toward me. I
backed the rest of the way to the car cuz at that point, it was
closer. He started twitching his ears and making noises. I was
worried he was going to charge. I grabbed my cell out of the car
door and RAN back to the house honking the car alarm the whole
time. I am sure my neighbors LOVED me!! The deer never backed
down!!! Once I was in the house I peeked back out the window and
he was still watching for me.
