Our first visit was in 2004 when Tsunami (now Hellcat) had just opened. It was awesome. Our problem with the park on that trip was their policy of no re-rides despite an empty station and a policy of no dispatch without at least 6 people in the train. This really limited the number of rides we could get as we spent forever waiting for enough people as the park was dead. Two years later we got back to Clementon. The traffic on a Friday had been terrible and we got there 50 minutes before close. It was pricey for 50 minutes but we paid and entered. 30 minutes later they closed J2 (Tsunami had become J2 and is now Hellcat) a full 20 minutes before close of the park. The rationale was to make sure the line could cycle clean before closing. The thing was there was no line - it was a station wait. We bitched to management and they grudgingly gave us a free admission pass for "next time." It has now been 13 years and there has not been a next time and probably never will be one. We learned their policies are unfriendly to enthusiasts so it is a hard pass unless they add a new coaster which hasn't happened in 15 years. #Post#: 849-------------------------------------------------- Re: Clementon Park and Splash World By: Mrceagle Date: July 24, 2019, 6:52 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Only parks I know of worth hitting an hour before closing are Storyland and Santa's Village since they give you a return pass for another day. Canobie pulls that same early line closure stunk. I visit often and find it aggravating I can only imagine how frustrating it would be if it was a park I hadn't visited the park before. #Post#: 858-------------------------------------------------- Re: Clementon Park and Splash World By: dellice45 Date: July 24, 2019, 11:03 pm --------------------------------------------------------- That park is not worth another visit lol I only went as an add on event for Coaster Con and I would never go back! I rather sit on the grass at Rocky Point and pretend the rides were still there lol *****************************************************
