Canobie 2019 + new ride

Hi everyone, really sad to hear what happened to the forums and
hope that they slowly build back up to their former glory.
Anyways, I’m starting this thread to post and keep updates on
the park for the 2019 season. I also wanted to share what I saw
regarding Canobie adding a new ride for 2019. I’m pretty sure it
was mentioned on the old forums a while back, but we finally
have a pic to confirm it. Really can’t wait to see what Canobie
invests in next... hopefully another thrilling flat!

Ya it's been talked about on the old site and here. I covered it
a bit on my opening day trip report and in trip reports last
year. They didn't have the nice picture up opening day thought.
They had hoped for a memorial day weekend opening but that
didn't happen. not really sure whats holding things up the ride
has been at the park for over a year.
It's a 2 story carousel similar to what is operated at Fun world
in Nashua. Mostly likely the same model that is operated at Fun
Spot in Florida.

I'm sort of suprised by this addition considering they have the
Antique Carousel plus a kids one. Any idea where in the park
this may go?

I think it will look great there. if it is the model at Fun spot
with the one level lower base It will have the potential to be
wheelchair friendly. If they place the pavement/concrete right
they can have the base on ground level removing any need of a
ramp.

It’s weird to have three carousels for sure but hopefully they
get this going! It’s nice to see Canobie add attractions!

I really don't know why the parks rags its feet getting rides
installed. I get if its a big ride and you have to go slowly to
get things right but these types of rides are intended to go up
quickly.

not sure last Any of my family were there it was still under
construction. I might go soon and I will make sure to check in
on the progress.
