A Dark ride added in the future is possible. If they add one, probably a generic theme. Six Flags is going the way of the cheap and that is fine. I am easy to please so I do not have to worry about having some grand attraction. I know a lot of people were spoiled over the years, self included, but lets face it, with share holders, a lot of parks to add attractions, they have to spread the wealth around. Thats why we see years like 2020 with lots of flats and Water Park attractions. Some people are pissed we aren't getting some huge thrill machine at SFNE or other parks, but the reality is, for the near future those days are over at both Cedar Fair and Six Flags as they get their debt in order as they are scooping up Water Parks and other parks! If they can get their debt lowered and get their attendance increased even more then sunny days ahead. Here is the problem, with all these parks they acquired , they now have less cash to give parks for attractions, For the most part, the GP eats up these attractions which helps their bottom line! Then we sit here scratching our heads going, what is going on, then people get upset and I get it because I was also that person! Now I look at the attractions coming in. IN the last decade the only attraction that I really didn't like was fireball! Everything else was great or ok and im fine with that! #Post#: 1118-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: Mrceagle Date: September 3, 2019, 2:41 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I get the rides on the cheap and I get all the water park attraction. I just feel we would have been better off getting a waterpark attraction over another flat this year. DC got a ride last year, south end before that. Every area fo the park has seen some sort fo work or addition except the waterpark in recent years. dose DC, an area that operates less than the center of the park need an additional 2 years in a row. I do like this year's addition, it appeals to me, not sure how much of the GP will really see it as much of an addition to the park. Hopefully, 2021 will finally see some waterpark attention. #Post#: 1137-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: dellice45 Date: September 8, 2019, 8:21 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I’m starting to think more and more 2021 is going to be a much needed water park addition. I think if they do that it will be a slam dunk and much needed. They will add when needed in dry park where they feel a need is #Post#: 1146-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: Mrceagle Date: September 9, 2019, 12:01 am --------------------------------------------------------- I hope so. As long as the new water slide doesn't come with a swamp thing of Aquaman theme. #Post#: 1151-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: Pineracer Date: September 9, 2019, 10:09 am --------------------------------------------------------- The Water Parks are safe from DC #Post#: 1152-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: heatherrrrz Date: September 9, 2019, 11:38 am --------------------------------------------------------- The spinning flat ride thing is not my cup of tea anymore, so when all they've been adding is spinning flat rides it makes us that can't ride them upset. #Post#: 1155-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: Mrceagle Date: September 9, 2019, 9:02 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I can get that. Outside of that, it doesn't say much for the variety. it's one of the issues I have with Canobie opting to add another carousel. #Post#: 1163-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: dellice45 Date: September 15, 2019, 1:18 pm --------------------------------------------------------- The crazy thing is 90% of the flat rides on the market spin, some swing or drop, but it seems the majority spin! I think in 2021 no spinning ride. Water park and then I think 2022 a Coaster. I'll say that on repeat for a while hahaha #Post#: 1516-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: Pineracer Date: December 6, 2019, 9:47 am --------------------------------------------------------- I can see small Water Park and Holiday in the Park improvements (if DC is not expanded in for 2020, then 2021 for sure). #Post#: 1601-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: CodyatTGE Date: December 30, 2019, 12:36 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I could see SFNE doing the old “wet and wild” thing in 2021. Maybe a Mat Racer and some Flying Scooters? 2022 will be your coaster year. ***************************************************** (DIR) Next Page
