It’s just more convenient to have two entrances. As for coasters, maybe an Axis coaster for Flashback and Goliath’s pad and then a Vekoma Launch in Whistlestop (or vice versa honestly.) The other coasters are fine honestly, obviously with an unlimited budget I’d be throwing in a B&M Wing in Riddler’s Pad and so on, but realistically: Goliath/Flashback -> S&S Axis Whistlestop Park -> Vekoma Launch GCG:EFAA -> Raptor OR Mack Powersplash and 2-3 flats. #Post#: 1830-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: Mr Scary Date: January 22, 2020, 12:33 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I believe the water park entrance is where it is now by design. They want to shuffle the crowds and families by gift shops and concessions along the way. It's smart way of making revenue for them #Post#: 1831-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: CodyatTGE Date: January 22, 2020, 1:32 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Yeah, I’ve never done HH but I’m sure it’s annoying to walk through arguably the most congested area of the park to get to the entrance too. Every time I go Gotham City is mobbed. #Post#: 1838-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: Mrceagle Date: January 22, 2020, 9:20 pm --------------------------------------------------------- The entrance used to be by Rockville. It was relocated to the back of the park. Personally, when it was happening I expected to see them separate the water park from the park and have 2 separate gates. That didn't happen htey then removed the bridge between South end and the kiddie area. #Post#: 1842-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: CodyatTGE Date: January 22, 2020, 9:29 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I just don’t see any harm in a second entrance. It makes it easier for dry park and water park guests. #Post#: 1845-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: depotrat Date: January 23, 2020, 4:30 am --------------------------------------------------------- Thre harm isn't to the guests as it would be more convenient. The harm is to the SFNE bottom line. They know if they make everyone going to the waterpark walk through a big chunk of the park, more sodas, souveniers, games, etc will be paid for by those folks. It is the same reason they closed that bridge and also the old cut thru to the front gate and make the mob walk around. #Post#: 1846-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: Mr Scary Date: January 23, 2020, 9:20 am --------------------------------------------------------- I would love the convenience of a quick entrance to the water park. Now it's at least a 20 minute walk from the water park all the way back to the car. Families eat inside the park now where back in the old days it seemed that you saw quite a few guests tailgate- eating out at their cars. You don't see that as much anymore. All these little "inconveniences" are usually well thought out. It sells dining plans #Post#: 1848-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: CodyatTGE Date: January 23, 2020, 2:00 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Yeah I guess I didn’t see it from the money angle. #Post#: 1849-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2021 and Beyond Speculation By: SuperWickedFun! [/quote] The park never forgets it. Can’t blame them for that. It’s a business with investors to answer to. ***************************************************** (DIR) Previous Page (DIR) Next Page
