I'm also excited to see this movie as well. But a bit concern f

It would be nice to prove the franchise still has good traction

Solo didn't do as well as they had hoped but this film, unlike
Solo, is part of the triple trilogy and the final one. If
presales are any indication it will be huge. Our theater has
already pretty much sold out day 1 (Dec 19 - 2 months from now)
thru the 10 PM showing on multiple screens.

I'm thinking of shooting for the Tuesday after. Oneil Cinema has
a special price that day and I can sue the discount and put it
towards their giant screen.

I enjoyed the movie! I know a lot of people hate the disney
trilogy! im interested to see how people look back at it 20
years from now, just like the prequels!

If Lucas had put out the same movies shot for shot you wouldn't
be seeing half the complaining. They were entertaining visually
appealing and the final movie wrapped up the sorry line
reasonably well. losing a key actress definitely threw them a
curve ball but they were able to handle it well.
