Here we can talk about the seasonal event. what are your thoughts? What do you think it needs? What might the future hold? Kidzopolis is one of the areas that really sees a makeover here's an on-ride of the Krazy Cars during Holiday In The Park. We go, but have to settle for Batman and Riddler. The trip to SFGADV yields rides on Nitro and El Toro. SFNE just does not compare. A ride on the Skyride to view the park from above is also an advantage at SFGADV. #Post#: 1364-------------------------------------------------- Re: Holiday In The Park By: SuperWickedFun! No Midways featuring ramps or stairways for guests to slip on. It's obviusly a concern they removed the themed walkways in Crackaxle and main street and converted ti to lacktop before launching the attraction at SFNE. #Post#: 1367-------------------------------------------------- Re: Holiday In The Park By: depotrat Date: October 26, 2019, 5:04 am --------------------------------------------------------- I understand the reasons for the limitations at SFNE. It is just that those limitations make the event less attractive to me. Others may not care as much. It is a long drive to SFGADV but can be worth it. Just FYI - SFGADV stays open weekends and select days in November between Fright Fest and HITP so if you need a coaster fix.............. #Post#: 1368-------------------------------------------------- Re: Holiday In The Park By: Mrceagle Date: October 27, 2019, 1:29 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I can get your position where you can choose between them. My other options would be to pay to visit Edaville, LC, or Santa's Village. I slightly prefer Santa's Village I'll hopefully visit LC for the first time for their event. For me, I liked Kidzopolis. I think it was called, Polar Paradise. Some of Mainstreet looked nice the lights over the walkway are nice but feel rushed. The rest of the park could be much better. #Post#: 1371-------------------------------------------------- Re: Holiday In The Park By: depotrat Date: October 28, 2019, 6:50 am --------------------------------------------------------- We usually get to LC at least once for their event. The hook there is the use of Food Trucks for almost all the food in the park. There are several that are really top notch. There are no coasters running at LC but it is always worth a visit. The plan this year is to get to all three parks at least once. Opinions vary on all three but we feel all are worth the trip. #Post#: 1373-------------------------------------------------- Re: Holiday In The Park By: Mrceagle Date: October 28, 2019, 5:08 pm --------------------------------------------------------- My brother is saving one of his Bring a friend free coupons for LC so I can check out their event this year. SFNE does try hard to operate rides which are good but some are simply uncomfortable to ride in colder weather. Think of how big of a Christmas tree of similar decoration they could set up on Harley Quin in they opted to turn it into a display over operating it. #Post#: 1376-------------------------------------------------- Re: Holiday In The Park By: Bubber11 Date: October 29, 2019, 6:46 am --------------------------------------------------------- I would rather them operate as much as possible than turning rides into decorations. It is what makes Six flags Holiday in the park better than most other Holiday events for me. ***************************************************** (DIR) Next Page
