       Nancy Drew (CW)

       Thoughts:
-I feel the IP is only there to get people's attention, It might
as well have been a random pilot the network was on the fence
about along with a Nancy Drew show and decided to combine the 2
       and it worked
-It has more a horror feel as it is set in a "holiday" town in
main (holiday is rather European of me but)
-New episodes are Wednesday's at 9 (which conflicts with the
Grove Show so set your DVR and catch up on On Demand)

I've seen a couple of episodes but I'm a bit torn. The
performances given by the cast are very good. The downfall is
it's a CW show so someone has to be sleeping with someone. My
nieces saw a commercial and where excited because they had seen
the recent movie but I had to say now this is more fo an adult
version of Nancy Drew. I expect it from CW for the most part
but it's not needed and it's not like the relationship is in any
way driving story plot. What little is there feels a bit forced!
I agree this has a bit of a horror aspect to it. I actually
welcome the suspense. Agin pointing to the recent movie there
was the supposed haunted house. We will have to see if this is
a season-long thing or more something just over the Halloween
       stretch.
Thing is I'm not sure how much we really needed this. We had a
TV show about a "Nancy Drew" character it was called Veronica
       Mars

What happened last week makes me think that:
If Ace is dead, Nancy will be put in the same place as him and
she may or may not use that to get her father questioned.
If Ace is fine after the accident, then I feel Nancy will be
less likely to turn in her father despite it being the best
interest of her newfound alliance with the police.

I DVR the show and I saw next weeks episode is titled "The
Hidden Staircase" which I felt was weird considering the film of
the same name from earlier in the year that I ended up
discussing in one of my YouTube videos from the summer.

Interesting. I looked at Wikipedia trying to see if any of the
other stories matched up with titles but that doesn't seem to be
       the case.
Though many of the stories do see to have a Supernatural theme
       to theme.

Ms. Marvin: No fretenizing with our drivers
       *A Few Hours Later*
       "She's a police officer"
I think that makes that moot and the one percenters in this town
       need to accept that.

You know something, it makes sense Ace wouldn't change much in
the dimension as he was made just for this iteration.
It would have been more interesting if they matched their book
counterparts (except Bess and George are still unrelated).
