By: dellice45 Date: January 2, 2020, 11:13 am --------------------------------------------------------- We created a video about some stuff I was told. What are your thoughts? By: Pineracer Date: January 2, 2020, 12:42 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I'd still see a few operating days in November (11/1 [Fright Fest], 11/7-8 [No Crack Axle Canyon], 11/14-15 [No Superman, Kontiki, North End, or Crack Axle Canyon]). I feel that's about as far as one can go without expecting a Christmas event. #Post#: 1627-------------------------------------------------- Re: Holiday In The Park Done at SFNE? By: dellice45 Date: January 2, 2020, 3:43 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I am also now hearing conflicting reports from other employees saying that it's still a go, but I'm awaiting confirmation from the park as I sent an email in early today to the park and once I get conformation, I will update once I know. I know the website is still promoting 2020, but we shall see!, I am hoping it's not going anywhere! I really enjoy HITP, I wish they added some more stuff, but It's still a great event! #Post#: 1633-------------------------------------------------- Re: Holiday In The Park Done at SFNE? By: depotrat Date: January 2, 2020, 5:48 pm --------------------------------------------------------- It is a bit shaky to promote the event for SP sales and then can it. Not that SFI can't be shaky at times. LOL They have invested a ton in lights, decorations etc for the event and SFI expanded HITP to more parks this year so bagging it here seems a bit odd, but sometimes thewre is no figuring SFI. #Post#: 1639-------------------------------------------------- Re: Holiday In The Park Done at SFNE? By: Mrceagle Date: January 2, 2020, 6:18 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I think as long as they are pushing memberships they will want to have as long of a season as they can get. This was a rough year. pore weather early in the event and then very cold temps. I didn't make it this year but did last year. It was fun but parts of the park could have been better decorated. if costs are a concern then maybe switch up some rides ore even drop one or 2. we had a long conversation about Harley Quinn and how that ride s fun but very uncomfortable in cold weather. I mean the ride requires like 3 or 4 employees. #Post#: 1703-------------------------------------------------- Re: Holiday In The Park Done at SFNE? HITP is just awesome! #Post#: 1718-------------------------------------------------- Re: Holiday In The Park Done at SFNE? By: Mrceagle Date: January 7, 2020, 10:21 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I missed this season so it's good to heave a chance to hit it next season. #Post#: 1931-------------------------------------------------- Re: Holiday In The Park Done at SFNE? By: dellice45 Date: January 28, 2020, 7:15 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Yeah, it was crazy when people were saying it's done, then the park responded with nope we put in plans already for 2020. I LOVE HITP, I hope this did put some scare into people though and hope people start going and supporting the event more! I get it, people don't want to be cold, plus with not all the rides open and a lot of people crying about it lol When Holiday In The Park comes around, my focus on the park changes. I don't ride as much, I go for the shows, the lights, hot chocolate, the atmosphere! I don't really care how many rides are open and I know for those that are not local and would come, might not because certain rides do not open as well as the weather! It's truly more of a local thing when it comes to HITP and I think if people changed their mindset of well its cold, rides might not open but there are still things to do, then maybe more people will quit crying! I love Christmas time and the decorations and its nice to see and enjoy it! ***************************************************** (DIR) Next Page
