One thing talked about is what TGE woud need to do and shoudl have if it brougth bac Holiday in the park. #Post#: 1783-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: CodyatTGE Date: January 16, 2020, 6:20 am --------------------------------------------------------- Honestly, just have a handful of attractions up and running, find some great shows, and maybe add some horse carriage rides and sledding hills. If they keep people busy I’m sure it’ll go over well. If we took more of a Winterfest approach over a HiTP one we’d be more successful. #Post#: 1785-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: Mrceagle Date: January 16, 2020, 5:46 pm --------------------------------------------------------- But where would you put sliding hills? I really like the idea fo shows but sadly Outside of Ghost Town the park doesn't have an indoor stage. Dn;t think any of the parks have operated sleight rides. Most of the new addition especially those in the village could operate with no issues. #Post#: 1788-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: CodyatTGE Date: January 16, 2020, 7:45 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Could Ghost Town hill and the path to Comet be sledding hills? They're not huge but they're something. #Post#: 1789-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: SuperWickedFun! Date: January 17, 2020, 9:46 am --------------------------------------------------------- Sledding would be cool but I’m sure it’s to much of an insurance risk. #Post#: 1790-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: CodyatTGE Date: January 17, 2020, 9:58 am --------------------------------------------------------- I mean if they have a pile of snow to stop people at the bottom I can’t imagine too many people would be a risk. #Post#: 1791-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: SuperWickedFun! Date: January 17, 2020, 6:55 pm --------------------------------------------------------- It’s an uncontrolled ride experience. SF’s won’t take that risk and I wouldn’t take it if I were them either. You see the ridiculous lawsuit with Bamboo at Great Adventure? People are looking to sue for anything. #Post#: 1792-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: CodyatTGE Date: January 17, 2020, 7:30 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Fair point. I know it’s in the same ballpark, but would an ice skating rink work? It’s an insurance problem but less of one than a sledding hill. #Post#: 1793-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: Mrceagle Date: January 18, 2020, 1:47 am --------------------------------------------------------- Ice skating would be very possible and a number of parks have offered it. it's just a matter of where do you set up the rink. My personal vote would be over by sky coaster. ***************************************************** (DIR) Next Page
