NH was the same way Go cart tracks and outdoor FEC attraction
were open long before any big attractions.

I just truly do not have any level of confidence that they’d be
consistent with cleaning, disinfection, mask enforcement, etc.
Many of the tourists in the Lake George region are already
refusing to wear masks, and they certainly won’t put them on at
the park. If the park opens, the staff is going to be a skeleton
crew already, so I’m not convinced there’d be proper
cleanliness.

I can get your concern. I went to Canobie's opening day and
while it was well staffed I did find the cleaning to be a bit
light. and our numbers are better than NY's

Well, I think we can officially say it's going to be a lost
season for the park. Not that you couldn't predict that months
ago though.
I'm not sure what the park's thought process was, but they did
end up putting together a bunch of rides in mid to late July.
They had 20 rides inspected and passed for operation, so they
must have been under the impression a delayed opening might have
been in the cards.

It's a shame but it made sense to get them ready on the chance
they were given the green light.
I just hope maintanince in the park was able to to get some
things done whiel the park was closed.

Anyone else see the reports that Six Flags was planning Holiday
in the Park for GE? Has to be a typo.... I was up by the park
last weekend and everything I could see has been winterized and
packed up.
