I know people either love it or hate it, but I am happy to say
that it has officially reopened with the new lift motor. I
haven't been on it since it opened! Who loves it or hates it?

I don't love or hate it. Even with the update, Which made it a
lot better, it's the overall layout and ride experience is
avarage. It's a classc and its a fun coaster. But overall is
just that.

Thankfully open but I am sure at some point that thing is coming
down within 10 years or so

Why would they bother to rebuild the lift, buy new trains, and
retrack the entire coaster is they simply plant to tear it down
within 10 years. They could have fought to get the budget to
replace it and form what I heard the idea of replacign it
completuly was tosed aroudn then.

They spent more money to fix this coaster than what it would
have cost to tear it down and replace it with a new attraction.
There is no way this coaster is going away for a long long time.

They obviously see value in keeping up the region's oldest
coaster and one of the oldest coasters still operating in the
US.

Yeah they have spent alot of money. Its just so unpopular and
painful that at some point they may have to cut their losses!

Unpopular with enthusiasts but the GP rides. It doesn't have to
be painful. Just stay off the axles! LOL

I just skip it now as no matter which seat I sit in I find it a
bit too painful for my liking! I am sure there is more work to
be done on the coaster but there needs to be some reprofiling on
some of the corners
