I was new, clean and very slick. The aquarium actually had a NYC theme to it which was unique for aquariums. The only problem we had was it was so small. Granted we did not read every placard or pet every fish but we were done in under an hour. At $28 per that was disappointing. For comparison, later in the day we hit Jenkinson's Aquarium in Point Pleasant NJ and spent 90 minutes with an admission only half of SEA Life. We finished the day riding some new coasters on the Jersey Shore and popped into Deno's in Brooklyn for our first ever night ride on the Wonder Wheel. The SEA Life aquarium was our only disappointment of the day. #Post#: 2930-------------------------------------------------- Re: SEA Life Aquarium American Dream Mall By: Mrceagle Date: August 18, 2021, 8:32 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Stinks you didn't enjoy the first Aquarium. Seems you can get a deal that includes Lego land Discovery center for 20 or so more but that's only a deal if you're visiting with kids. But you think they would want to be conservative with their pricing given the number of high ranked aquariums in the area. #Post#: 2938-------------------------------------------------- Re: SEA Life Aquarium American Dream Mall By: depotrat Date: August 20, 2021, 10:16 am --------------------------------------------------------- We went now because American Dream is in poor financial shape and who knows what will happen. That mall has been cursed from the beginning. During development no less than four companies tried and failed to get it open over a period of 20 years. This group (same folks as Mall of America) stepped in, brought stability and as soon as they were ready to open Covid hit. Now they are borrowing money to make their bond payments. Borrowing to pay debts is never good unless you are the US government!! LOL I think the pricing reflects the level of desperation there. The next big bond payment due is February. Stay tuned as the line of credit is almost gone already so who knows what will happen. #Post#: 2940-------------------------------------------------- Re: SEA Life Aquarium American Dream Mall By: Mrceagle Date: August 22, 2021, 11:58 am --------------------------------------------------------- That does make sense. se can hope all works out fine but its really hard to say.
