The biggest thing was them getting rid of the skeleton key rooms on thw haunted attractions. However, I did enjoy the extra catered meal and the inside tours of Possessed, the sign shop, the maintenance shop, and the costume shop. The main reasons I’ve done CM were that CF’s haunted attractions I’ve found to be far superior to SF’s, and none of them are upcharge unless you want front-of-the-line access. The event became a must-do for me when they first introduced the skeleton key rooms in 2014, I was disappointed to see them removed in 2018. And the fact that it’s held the day after PPP made it a great Pennsylvania weekend double-header. #Post#: 170-------------------------------------------------- Re: Dorney Park By: Mrceagle Date: May 5, 2019, 6:44 pm --------------------------------------------------------- So it's not really the park but some changes to the haunts hat you were disappointed in. #Post#: 171-------------------------------------------------- Re: Dorney Park By: DJ Legend Date: May 6, 2019, 9:40 am --------------------------------------------------------- That is correct, many of them also seemed to have been scaled back from the first times I remember them. I like the park - Talon is one of my top 10 steelies, but the haunts this past season just didn’t seem as good as they were in previous seasons. #Post#: 172-------------------------------------------------- Re: Dorney Park By: Pineracer Date: May 6, 2019, 10:13 am --------------------------------------------------------- I went in 2014 as part of a class trip and lost a camera. Screwed up my plans for my first summer as a YouTuber and haven't been back since. Still haven't ridden Talon and Thunderhawk, but I think I rode Demon Drop twice. I also now hate the beach, and loosing another camera on my Spring Break trip to Florida this year doesn't make that better. #Post#: 182-------------------------------------------------- Re: Dorney Park By: Mrceagle Date: May 6, 2019, 8:16 pm ---------------------------------------------------------
That is correct, many of them also seemed to have been scaled back from the first times I remember them.
It can be frustrating when haunts are shortened but generally haunts are never s good the second year around. Canobie Shortened the Culling last year and took out a few rooms as well as removed he beginning. they then shoehorned a second haunt in after Culling. Neither were as god as the Culling 2 years ago. ***************************************************** (DIR) Next Page
