I think Candymonium is the best of the US B&M hypers. The first half is almost as good as Mako's, but unlike Mako where the second half meanders, Candymonium still has good airtime through the end. #Post#: 2556-------------------------------------------------- Re: Hersheypark By: SuperWickedFun! [/quote] I really liked it as well. In the back you are out of your seat the entire first drop. Only critique is to lay off the trims. Rides without them were more fun. Super smooth and quite too. #Post#: 2557-------------------------------------------------- Re: Hersheypark By: Mrceagle Date: September 17, 2020, 6:48 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I'm happy to see that you both enjoyed the coaster and that it seems to be a sucess for the park. #Post#: 2794-------------------------------------------------- Re: Hersheypark By: dellice45 Date: April 19, 2021, 10:22 am --------------------------------------------------------- I gotta get back to the park! #Post#: 2795-------------------------------------------------- Re: Hersheypark By: Mrceagle Date: April 19, 2021, 12:28 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Seems like they are putting up straightforward checks. About what I would expect to see anywhere. #Post#: 2802-------------------------------------------------- Re: Hersheypark By: depotrat Date: April 19, 2021, 5:50 pm --------------------------------------------------------- They were selling one day tix for 40% off earlier. We bought two so we know we will be going at some point this summer. We haven't been there in a few years so Candymonium will be a new coaster for us. #Post#: 2804-------------------------------------------------- Re: Hersheypark By: Mrceagle Date: April 20, 2021, 10:21 am --------------------------------------------------------- not a bad deal. I've only done the Chocolate world Darkride and store. walked the downtown and had dinner at one of the restaurants. never been in the park. #Post#: 3043-------------------------------------------------- Re: Hersheypark By: depotrat Date: November 22, 2021, 1:54 pm --------------------------------------------------------- We got to Hersheypark for their Christmas CandyLane event yesterday. It was a long drive but it was nice to get out. The park was well decorated but really not any better than SFNE, SFGADV or LC. We did get a night ride on Candymonium which was much much better than the daylight ride we had earlier this year. They also have a separate admission drive thru Christmas display called Sweet Lights. It was certainly the longest attraction of this type we have ever done. It was over 3 miles long. It was pricey but very well done. #Post#: 3045-------------------------------------------------- Re: Hersheypark By: Mrceagle Date: December 1, 2021, 2:52 pm --------------------------------------------------------- sounds like you had a good time. I can;t say I'm overly surprised that the event is on par with those other events there is only so much you can do to decorate for the holiday. ***************************************************** (DIR) Previous Page (DIR) Next Page
