into the old thread were not in vain!
(I still have it saved, by the way. At the moment I am wondering
how best to republish it. Any ideas?)
Also, besides being ugly, the above decor is also utterly
un-American; you wouldn't even know that this is in the US just
from the above pictures. As American nationalists this is also
something that we should keep pointing out. American homes
should look distinctively American.

As I have repeatedly tried to point out, US rightists are
Westerners, not Americans. The latest evidence of this is the
following Homo Hubris RNC closing songs which are about as
un-American as it is possible to sound:

Yet this is the kind of music Trump and his supporters (look at
the YouTube comments!) like. It fits perfectly with Trump's
architectural tastes as seen in the decor of Trump Tower,
Mar-a-Lago, etc. (previously posted but currently unavailable).
It is all part of the same uniquely ugly aesthetic of the
post-Renaissance West. Used in the context of the Trump
campaign, it is a shameless dogwhistle to Eurocentrism.
Rightists do not want the US to be America. They want the US to
be never anything but a crass permanent incursion of Western
civilization into the New World.
Contrast with the DNC closing song whose sound is instantly
recognizable as American:

Further on the topic of ballroom dancing recently brought up, we
should also note its inherent ugliness. As is typical of Western
aesthetics, it is based on glorification of sexual dimorphism.

the sheer absurdity of the females - but only the females -
dancing in high-heeled shoes), even the moves are asymmetric
between the performers in a way intended to emphasize sexual

support of the females, whereas the reverse is frequent), with
patriarchy implicit throughout.
(Contrast with the sharp reduction in sexual dimorphism (both in
outfits and in moves) with the rise of disco (thank you
